Brady played a very competitive match on Sunday against HMH who looked a strong team.

It took fifteen minutes for the breakthrough to come, but across from the right-wing into the middle was slotted home by the HMH number ten, who was totally unmarked.

Brady immediately responded with a brilliant shot which was parried by the goalkeeper onto the post and bar, which almost brought the equaliser and yet less than one minute later, HMH again broke down the right and produced a great save from Gabriel who pushed the ball around the post.

From the ensuing corner a shot was headed off the line and then another shot bought another great save from Gabriel.

Yet another break away from HMH resulted in Gabriel kicking the ball away when faced with a one-on-one and Brady went into half time 1-0 down, despite generally HMH being well on top.

Some seven minutes into the second half and HMH's shot was deflected off a defenders head and over Gabriel into the net. Their number seven was then clean through and hit it tamely at the goalkeeper. A poor kick out resulted in the ball finding its way to the left side of our defence, who appeared to be no where and Brady were 3-0 down.

Undeterred Brady fought back and a ball over the top gave Ben the opportunity to run on and score to make it 3-1. However, back came HMH who hit the post from a shot, but one of their attackers then laid the ball back and the ball was lashed into the far top corner of the net, to make it 4-1.

After that HMH hit the bar, but Brady responded once again and Ben broke away with a three on one, but instead of passing, hit the ball wide of the goalkeeper and it stuck in the mud.

With the very last kick of the game, Gideon scored from a corner to make it 4-2.

Undoubtedly the better team won, but Brady put up a good performance and never gave up, which was to their eternal credit.
