Division One leaders North London Raiders had a good result without even playing, while Clayhall A went clear in the second division.

Division One
Leaders North London Raiders had a good result without even playing; none of their main rivals was able to win, with Brady and Lions battling out a draw, and Glenthorne losing out to South Mancunians.

The big game of the day pitted second against third, as Brady and Lions fought to close the gap at the top, but Adam Brand's strike for Lions was cancelled out by Laurence Myers' penalty for Brady.

Glenthorne were favourites to join the chasing pack but their opponents, South Mancunians, pulled off a surprise 6-2 win to haul themselves into title contention. Stewart Block and Faraharz Bozorgzad-Moghim scored for Glenthorne, but they were no match for Mancs, who triumphed through two goals from Mark Powell, plus one each from Eric Elbaz, Gavin Jacobs, Darren Coon, and a 40-yarder 'belter' from Ollie Olsen. Meanwhile a hat-trick from Faithfold's Mark Klinger consigned EDRS to another defeat.

Division Two
Brady B continued their improvement with a 4-2 win against Temple Fortune. Long-range goals from Malcolm Hershman (2) and Pete Sugarman, plus an own goal, saw off the threat from Fortune, despite Steve Feiger and James Ryan's efforts.

Clayhall A edged a point clear at the top as they dispatched Ashlodge 4-0, courtesy of two Dave Roberts strikes, along with Mark Goldman and Neil Sapler strikes.

The two teams behind them, Norstar and Lions B, shared eight goals and the points. Lions had roared 3-0 ahead inside 19 minutes with a brace from Howard Freeman and one from Marc Morris, but goals from Bruce Brent and Simon Lawrence reduced the arrears for Norstar before the break, and David Jacobs made it 3-3 on the hour. Lions then looked to have snatched the points with a late goal from Stuart Coutts, but Brent popped up with another goal at the death to deny them a win, and maintain Norstar's unbeaten record and second spot.
