Sela Out Of US Open
Dudi Sela followed in Shahar Peer's footsteps on Wednesday as he also crashed out of the last Grand Slam of the year.
Up against the fifth seed, Russian Nikolay Davydenko, Sela, ranked number 76 in the world was comprehensively beaten in three sets - 6-3 6-3 6-3.
His defeat means Israel hopes now lie in the various doubles competition, where Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich will be hoping for their second Grand Slam title of the year.
